Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Darwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Herer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darwin comes to the cage accompanied by Rough Gem. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herer buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Darwin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Herer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Darwin wants to clinch up but Herer keeps it at a distance.
Darwin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Herer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Darwin.
Darwin checks a leg kick nicely.
Herer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Darwin fails in his attempt to clinch.

Herer goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Herer lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Darwin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Darwin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Darwin moves in looking to clinch but Herer pushes him off.
Darwin doesn't manage to clinch there - Herer circles away.
Darwin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Herer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Herer misses with a straight left.
Darwin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Herer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Herer keeps the fight on the outside.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Herer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Herer feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Darwin's calf.
Herer fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Darwin.
Herer feints and then cracks Darwin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Darwin down.
Herer changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Darwin is breathing heavily.
Herer lands a big head kick that sends Darwin tumbling to the mat! Herer takes a step backwards and waves Darwin back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Darwin is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Darwin drops his hands momentarily and Herer needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Darwin just on the top of the head. Darwin drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Darwin - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jack Herer!
