Ares has chosen Run This Town as his entrance music. Solomon Ares has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Boxcar Willie's chin.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willie closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Ares is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The ground and pound from Willie seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Ares managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Willie.

Willie drops back looking for a leg! Ares is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ares manages to kick Willie off! Willie jumps back into Ares's guard.
Ares is pulling down on Willie's head to control his posture.

Ares has control of Willie's left arm, preventing Willie from doing any damage.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Willie shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Willie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Willie throws and elbow that misses. Ares uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Willie's guard. Nice move by Ares!

Willie tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Willie throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ares escapes and throws Willie's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Ares creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Willie is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ares off and has taken his back!

Willie is trying to stick to Ares's back but Ares is turning into Willie. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Willie's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Ares.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Boxcar Willie will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Willie fails with the takedown
and Ares counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ares lands with a nice body punch.
Willie with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ares to score with a decent uppercut.
Willie slips under a jab from Ares.
Ares lands the left hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ares drops Willie with a big left hand and mounts him. Willie is in big trouble!
Willie is rocked!
Ares postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Willie out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Ares goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Solomon Ares!
