Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ayumu Hirohito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hirohito has chosen The Vapors - I think I'm turning Japanese as his entrance music. Marcus Hughes has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ayumu Hirohito!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hirohito showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hughes.
Hirohito lands with a kick to the temple. Hughes shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Marcus Hughes has been cut.
Hirohito staying out of range there.
Hughes misses with a looping left.
Hirohito closes the distance and clinches.
Hirohito breaks from the clinch.
Hughes finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
No joy there for Hughes, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Good work by Hirohito as he checks the leg kick.
A head kick by Hughes misses
and Hirohito counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hirohito goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Hughes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hughes takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Hirohito moves out of range of the strikes.
A nice leg kick lands there from Hirohito.
Hughes is breathing heavily.
Hirohito lands a big head kick that sends Hughes tumbling to the mat! Hirohito takes a step backwards and waves Hughes back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Hughes is rocked!
Hirohito throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Hughes crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ayumu Hirohito!
