Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shane Valcone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Sabrol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sabrol has chosen Snap Your Fingers Snap Your Neck as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shane Valcone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricardo Sabrol!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valcone cracks Sabrol with a good jab.
Sabrol misses with a wild body shot.
Sabrol shoots in for a double leg but Valcone sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sabrol fails with an attempt to clinch.
Valcone misses with a leg kick.
Sabrol throws a hook but Valcone blocks it.
Valcone walks forward, straight into a front kick from Sabrol.
Valcone has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Valcone there as he acknowledges the shot.

Sabrol throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Valcone was covering up waiting for the punch and Sabrol finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Valcone working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sabrol doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sabrol manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Sabrol trying to control the position from guard on top but Valcone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Valcone wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Sabrol manages to pass to side control.

Sabrol is working for a kimura but Valcone is defending it quite comfortably.
Valcone moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Sabrol wants to control from the top but Valcone keeps moving.

Valcone is looking for a triangle here but Sabrol uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Valcone is trying to control Sabrol's posture but Sabrol avoids it.
Sabrol wants to control but Valcone is keeping him busy.
Valcone is looking to regain half guard here but Sabrol keeps moving and retains side control.
Sabrol in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Valcone dodges the ground and pound from Sabrol.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sabrol lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Valcone has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Valcone and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Ricardo Sabrol seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Valcone takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sabrol tries to clinch up.
Valcone misses with an uppercut. Sabrol saw that one coming.
Valcone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Valcone thows a leg kick but Sabrol checks it
and Sabrol counters with a series of strikes. Valcone will be more careful next time no doubt.

Valcone is rocked!
Valcone throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Oh Valcone is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sabrol connects with a stiff jab that staggers Valcone - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
