The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

MANNERS wants to clinch but Dupont slips to the side
and Dupont counters with a head kick. That will keep MANNERS thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
MANNERS tries to close the distance and clinch but Dupont swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
MANNERS shoots in looking for a takedown. Dupont tries to sprawl out of it but MANNERS keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dupont manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Dupont is staying active underneath MANNERS, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

MANNERS fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Dupont is out of range.
Dupont throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Dupont throws a combination but it was largely blocked by MANNERS.
Dupont fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dupont lands with a kick to the temple. MANNERS shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Dupont takes the fight into the clinch.
MANNERS takes an elbow to the temple.
Dupont connects with a knee to the head.
MANNERS is rocked!
Dupont gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Oh MANNERS is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dupont works his foot free and advances to mount.
Dupont fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

A close second round but Paige Dupont will probably get the nod - 10:9.
