Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Simo Hayha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and super mario (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hayha might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sabaton - White Death. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mario takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hayha throws out a powerful jab.
Hayha misses with a two punch combination.
Hayha slaps away a takedown attempt from mario, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Simo Hayha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hayha dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hayha moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! mario goes down! Can Hayha finish him!?

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
mario lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hayha!
mario is trying to take his opponent's back.
mario looking to control but Hayha is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
mario prevents Hayha from getting the reversal.

Hayha is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

mario is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

mario seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hayha does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
mario wants to stand up but Hayha manages to regain full guard.

Hayha is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hayha escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. mario gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hayha has his foot on mario's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. mario works his way back into a safe position though.

mario tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hayha swivels and escapes.
