Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Sanches (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and alex murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
murphy fails with the takedown.

Sanches throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. murphy was covering up waiting for the punch and Sanches finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
murphy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Sanches might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Sanches prevents murphy from getting back to his feet.
Sanches stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. murphy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
murphy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Sanches postures up in murphy's guard and throws a big left but murphy blocks it.
Sanches has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
murphy manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
murphy can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sanches is looking to escape.

murphy is looking to stand but murphy has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
murphy tries to control but Sanches wriggling away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
murphy tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
murphy looking to control but Sanches is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Sanches wants to hold on but murphy pushes him away.
Sanches regains half guard.

murphy is looking to stall here but Sanches recovers full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sanches escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. murphy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
murphy passes easily into side control. Nice work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sanches sneaks back into half guard.
murphy is looking to take a break and control but Sanches is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Felipe Sanches dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

murphy misses with a takedown

and Sanches counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for murphy!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
murphy tries to hold on but Sanches postures up.
Sanches pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
murphy tries to get back to half guard but can't.

murphy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Sanches lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Sanches fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
murphy is still in real trouble! Can Sanches finish him?

Sanches postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have murphy in real trouble here! The ref calls for murphy to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
