The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawller misses with a body shot.

DeMaio shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

DeMaio thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

DeMaio avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Lawller has his foot on DeMaio's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. DeMaio works his way back into a safe position though.

DeMaio drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and DeMaio jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Lawller looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! DeMaio has picked Lawller up and slammed him! Lawller can't keep hold of the triangle and DeMaio manages to pass to side control!

DeMaio looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

DeMaio is working for a guillotine from mount but Lawller frees his head quite easily.

DeMaio throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Lawller has his hands clasped together but DeMaio breaks the hold and Lawller is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by DeMaio!
