Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Heihachi Hayashida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshi Mucao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayashida takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Mucao fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hayashida manages to avoid it.

Mucao feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round but I would say that Heihachi Hayashida will probably get the nod.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mucao stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mucao wants it to stay on the feet.

Hayashida is nestled in close to Mucao, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hayashida, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
