The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kay tries to score a power double leg takedown but vera sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kay somewhat.

and vera counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kay's guard now.

Kay working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. vera doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. vera manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kay quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! vera has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Kay celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
