Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Atreides shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. pain manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

pain looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Atreides loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

pain pushes Atreides off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
pain stuffs the takedown attempt from Atreides. Atreides gets slowly back to his feet.
pain throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Atreides fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Atreides closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Atreides tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Atreides has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

pain tries to bench press Atreides off him but Atreides keeps the position.
Atreides misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Atreides has hold of pain's arm. He's looking for a kimura. pain seems comfortable defending it but Atreides has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! pain is real pain and he's forced to tap out! pain is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Atreides couldn't care less - he's delighted!
