The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Oneill Jnr blocks the leg kick.

Oneill Jnr throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Man was covering up waiting for the punch and Oneill Jnr finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Man tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Oneill Jnr is able to avoid easily.
Man goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Man stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Man wants it to stay on the feet.
Day Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oneill Jnr changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Man tries to avoid it but Oneill Jnr manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Man to the ground. Man escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Man lands a big head kick that sends Oneill Jnr to the canvas! Man follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
