The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rozario circles away from the clinch attempt.
jones swinging wildly here.
jones misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rozario misses with a series of wild punches.
jones dives in and grabs Rozario's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rozario pushes down on jones 's head and hops out.
jones uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rozario.
jones swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rozario moves into the clinch.
jones jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rozario walks away with a smile on his face. jones gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for pete jones . That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Rozario counters by clinching up.
jones tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rozario smiles and moves away.
jones misses with a straight left.
Rozario fakes high and swings low for a body shot but jones manages to avoid it.

Rozario looks to land a combination but jones avoids it well.

pete jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
jones jabbing away but nothing is landing.
jones clobbers Rozario with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
jones wants to clinch but Rozario slips to the side
and Rozario counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
jones takes an elbow to the forehead.
Rozario putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has jones in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Rozario throws a sloppy head kick and jones moves out of range easily.

and Rozario counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like pete jones has been cut.
jones is breathing heavily.

and Rozario counters with a thumping low kick.
Rozario lands a glancing blow to the side of jones 's head.

Rozario closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
jones fails to pull guard.
Rozario lands an elbow inside that jones shrugs off.
jones takes a knee right on the jaw!
Rozario has jones pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. jones is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Rozario - that's hurt jones badly! Oh, another knee lands and jones is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but jones doesn't seem to be complaining.
