The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dos Santos ducks under a wild hook from Kaipainen.
Kaipainen misses with an uppercut. Dos Santos saw that one coming.
Kaipainen misses with a body shot.
Kaipainen lands a body shot.
Dos Santos fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Dos Santos fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dos Santos takes one to the chin there.
Dos Santos lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Dos Santos walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A jab from Kaipainen finds it's way through Dos Santos's defenses.
Dos Santos doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kaipainen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Dos Santos's corner calls for a 1-2. Dos Santos obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Dos Santos cracks Kaipainen with a good jab.
Kaipainen looks to land a combination. Dos Santos sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
A jab from Kaipainen misses.
Kaipainen drops his shoulder and cracks Dos Santos with a huge uppercut! Dos Santos goes down! Can Kaipainen finish him?
Dos Santos is rocked!

Kaipainen postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Dos Santos's head off the mat! Dos Santos is out! He's out! Kaipainen jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Uolevi Kaipainen! Uolevi Kaipainen retains his heavyweight title!
