Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norman Goreman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob comes to the cage accompanied by Dragonforce- heroes of our time. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bob throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bob throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Goreman sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bob connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Bob connects with a right hand. Goreman shakes it off.

Bob misses with a jab, cross combination.
A slow jab from Bob misses its intended target.
Bob thows a body shot but no joy.
Bob misses with an uppercut. Goreman saw that one coming.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Goreman might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Bob has got the better of the exchanges.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Goreman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bob swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bob is looking to stand up but Goreman isn't so interested in that idea.
Goremanis looking to pass into half guard but Bob pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Bob is in guard.
Bob has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Bob wants to control from the top but Goreman keeps moving.

Goreman looking for a guillotine here but Bob defends easily.

Bob is controlling the pace.
Bob uses his free foot to push down on Goreman's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Goreman.

Goreman is desperately trying to improve his position but Bob has a good base and remains in mount.

Goreman is trying to get back to full guard.
Bob takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
