Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Will Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Pembelton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pembelton has chosen Hail Mary by Tupac as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Will Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Pembelton!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pembelton changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Anderson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Anderson looking for a sweep but Pembelton has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Pembelton jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Anderson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Anderson and Pembelton has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Anderson tries to improve position but can't.
Anderson wants to get back to his feet.

Pembelton working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Pembelton looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Anderson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Anderson is staying active underneath Pembelton, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pembelton moves into full mount! Anderson won't be happy about that!
Anderson is looking to improve his position but Pembelton isn't that keen on the idea.
Pembelton trying to control but Anderson is having none of it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pembelton prevents Anderson from getting the reversal.
Anderson is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Pembelton is working for a guillotine from mount but Anderson frees his head quite easily.
Anderson can't escape the position.
Pembelton can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Anderson is looking to escape.

Pembelton looking to isolate an arm here. Anderson doesn't see it coming and as Pembelton extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Pembelton!
