Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Zacancer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zacancer comes to the cage accompanied by Piranha - The Prodigy. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zacancer throws a big shot that misses.
Zacancer throws a low kick, looking for Thomas's leg but Thomas calmly moves out of range.
Zacancer throws a right hand that Thomas ducks under and follows up with a left that Thomas also avoids with ease.
Zacancer misses the shot to the body.
Thomas shoots for a takedown but Zacancer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Zacancer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Thomas avoids it really well and circles away.
Thomas shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Zacancer but Zacancer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Thomas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Thomas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zacancer.
Zacancer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Zacancer keeps the fight on the outside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zacancer shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Zacancer was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Thomas can do anything to dispel that myth.
Thomas is in all sorts of trouble here.

Thomas bucks up and throws Zacancer to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

Zacancer shoots in for a double leg but Thomas sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Zacancer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Thomas needs to keep his hands up - Zacancer had a free shot at his head there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zacancer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Thomas circles away quickly and effectively.

Zacancer scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Thomas is staying active underneath Zacancer, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Thomas tries to improve his position but Zacancer has taken his back! Zacancer has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Thomas tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Zacancer pushes Thomas away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
