Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tweed Apollo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Cyren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Apollo comes to the cage accompanied by Olli Banjo - Don´t do drugs . Cyren has chosen Nonpoint - Bullet With A Name as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apollo is looking to clinch.

Cyren shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Apollo's guard.
Cyren prevents Apollo from getting back to his feet.

Apollo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Cyren trying to control the position from guard on top but Apollo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Apollo is looking for a triangle here but Cyren uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cyren tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cyren has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Apollo sneaks out the side door and pushes Cyren away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Cyren drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Apollo tries to lock up and control but Cyren gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Cyren can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Apollo is looking to escape.
Apollo tries to buck Cyren off but he can't manage it.
Apollo is breathing heavily.
Cyren has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Apollo's face.
Apollo is squirming around, avoiding Cyren's attempts to control the action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cyren cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Apollo tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Cyren is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Apollo to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Apollo shrugs it off.
Cyren lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Cyren wants to control the pace but Apollo is squirming around nicely.
Apollo is looking to get to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Carl Cyren dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Apollo throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Cyren scores with a takedown into Apollo's guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Carl Cyren.
Apollo tries to close the distance and clinch but Cyren swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Cyren decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Cyren is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Cyren postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Apollo to stand up.
Apollo doesn't manage to clinch there - Cyren circles away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Cyren wants to land a leg kick but Apollo is out of range.

Cyren feints and as Apollo raises his hands in defense, Cyren changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Apollo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cyren sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Cyren throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Apollo was covering up waiting for the punch and Cyren finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Cyren is stalling in the full guard.
Cyren stands and throws Apollo's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Cyren is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Apollo is trying to escape and Cyren transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Apollo is forced to tap! Nice work there by Cyren! Very nice indeed!
