The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fang lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Beast circles away quickly and effectively.
Fang clinches.
Fang misses with a body punch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Beast.
It looks like Tau Fang has been cut.
Beast lands a body shot.
Beast escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Beast thows a body shot but no joy.
Fang tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Beast was well out of range. Poor timing from Fang.
Beast misses with a shot to the body
and Fang counters by moving into the clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Fang.
Beast pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fang fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fang misses with a wild body shot.
Beast pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Beast looks to land a right hand but Fang moved out of range.
Beast cracks the inside of Fang's front leg.
Fang throws a right and a left that Beast avoids nicely.

and Fang counters with an inside leg kick.
Beast throws a nice outside leg kick.

and Fang counters with a nice uppercut.
A head kick by Fang misses
and Beast makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Fang looks gassed!
Beast throws a leg kick that misses.
Fang doesn't manage to clinch there - Beast circles away.
Beast misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fang gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Beast counters with a nice leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Beast fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fang.

and Beast counters with a left and a right that stings Fang.
Beast takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Beast tests Fang's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Beast lands with a cross.
Beast scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Fang.
Fang swings wildly with an uppercut but Beast uses good head movement to avoid it.
Beast trying to control the position but instead, Fang has worked for underhooks and has pushed Beast into the cage.
Beast lands a nice shot to the body.
Beast tries to pull guard but Fang holds him up against the cage and eventually Beast drops back down to his feet.
A nice right hand lands inside from Beast.
Beast lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Fang backwards.
Fang misses with some punches.
Beast trying to stall but Fang improves his position.
Nice body punch from Fang - that landed with a thud.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Beast prevents a body shot from Fang.
Beast throws a head punch that misses.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Beast lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Fang tries to clinch up
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Nice uppercut lands for Beast. That snapped Fang's head back.
Beast throws a shot from downtown. Fang moves away and avoids it.
Fang misses with an uppercut
enabling Beast to counter with a crisp jab.
Beast misses with a low kick.
Beast will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Beast blocks a head kick by Fang.
Fang moves out of range as Beast strikes.

Fang walks into a stiff left hand from Beast.
Beast is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Fang swings away with a body shot that misses
and Beast counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Fang is breathing heavily.
Beast throws a head kick that misses
and Fang counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Beast misses the jab.
Fang tries to clinch there but Beast circles away.
Fang misses with a right hand
and Beast counters with a takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Beast controlling the position.
Fang stops Beast from passing to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fang wants to get back to his feet.
Beast throws an elbow but Fang slips to the side and avoids it well.
Fang tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Beast wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Beast is looking to take a break and control but Fang is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee asks Beast politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Beast prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fang is working to avoid the ground and pound but Beast connects with a decent elbow.
Beast has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Beast throws a strike aimed at the side of Fang's head but Fang avoids it well.
Fang tries to bench press Beast off him but Beast keeps the position.
Beast throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Fang works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Beast will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Beast lands a nice short elbow.
Beast passes the guard and advances to mount!
Beast postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Fang looks a forlorn figure.
That has opened up Tau Fang's cut even more.

Fang tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Beast sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
A nice elbow there by Beast.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fang wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Beast lands a big elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Beast drops Fang with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Fang! Beast dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
