Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Killer Elite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlade Divac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elite throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Elite will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Divac avoids a punch combination nicely.
A combination from Elite does no damage.
Divac shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Elite pinned against the cage. Elite gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Divac counters by clinching up.

Elite breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Divac fails with a takedown attempt.
Divac shoots in for a takedown but Elite shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Killer Elite has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vlade Divac.

Elite wants to stand but Divac has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Divac kicks Elite off and gets to his feet.
Divac avoids a punch combination nicely.
Divac shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Elite but Elite pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Divac misses with a few strikes there.
Divac looks for a takedown but Elite sprawls well.
Divac shoots for a takedown but Elite saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Killer Elite seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Divac looks gassed!

Elite throws a nice looking combination but Divac bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Divac looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Divac is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Elite creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Elite lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Divac has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Elite creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Divac with a big uppercut! Divac tries to clinch up but Elite pushes him back against the ropes and lands another moster strike that crumples Divac to the mat! Divac covers up and Elite unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
