Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel LaRusso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel LaRusso!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaRusso fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
LaRusso slips under a jab from Kelly.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kelly. LaRusso does a little dance to reset his feet.
LaRusso swings away with a body shot that misses
letting Kelly counter with a right hand.
LaRusso throws a series of punches but Kelly avoids them all with ease.
LaRusso dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kelly. That did some damage!
Kelly slips a straight right by LaRusso.
Kelly keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kelly smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
A low kick from LaRusso misses
and Kelly counters with a thumping low kick.
LaRusso misses with a hook.
Kelly lands a really nice looking cross but LaRusso seems unphased.
LaRusso throws a body punch but Kelly moves out of range.
Daniel LaRusso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kelly lands with a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kelly displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as LaRusso throws out the jab.
LaRusso throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kelly counters with an inside leg kick.
LaRusso avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
LaRusso fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kelly manages to avoid it.
Kelly goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Daniel LaRusso has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kelly dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on LaRusso. That did some damage!
LaRusso looks gassed!
Kelly fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops LaRusso to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! LaRusso looks to clinch but Kelly throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! LaRusso taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Ken Kelly!
