Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karl Bartos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Fist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bartos's entrance music is Die Roboter. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Karl Bartos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Fist!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, David Schapiro and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fist punishes Bartos's body with a nice straight punch.
Bartos ducks right into an uppercut from Fist.
Bartos throws an off balance right hand
and Fist cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fist lunges at Bartos with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bartos's hand.
Bartos on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.


It looks like Karl Bartos has been cut.
Bartos fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fist slips under a jab from Bartos.
Bartos misses with a double jab.
Fist lands the left hand.
Bartos scores with a jab. Fist acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Bartos tries to bum rush Fist with a series of wild strikes but Fist uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fist moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Fist fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bartos on the side of the head.
Bartos shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A swing and a miss from Bartos.

Fist drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Fist just content to control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fist in side control, throwing shots but Bartos defends.
Fist trying to control the position but Bartos is working away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
You can see the frustration on Bartos's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Fist is working Bartos over with some ground and pound from side control.
Bartos avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Fist.
Fist tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fist fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Fist throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Fist in side control lands a decent elbow.
Fist working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Fist in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Fist wants to stand but Bartos is controlling his arm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bartos managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Fist.
Bartos struggling a bit here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fist has knee on belly momentarily but Bartos bucks him off and regains half guard.
Fist slips a nice elbow through Bartos's hands, connecting with Bartos's forehead.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fist wants to stand up but Bartos has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fist is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kyle Fist dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Karl Bartos's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Bartos swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fist lands a jab to the head.
Nice shot by Fist.
Bartos bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fist's head.
Fist throws a nice inside leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fist lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bartos checks a leg kick.
Karl Bartos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bartos moves forwards but Fist connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Bartos takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Fist throws a low kick, looking for Bartos's leg but Bartos calmly moves out of range.
Bartos ducks right into an uppercut from Fist.
Fist takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Fist has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Fist throws a shot to the body.
Bartos keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Fist has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bartos on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Fist gets the takedown into side control.
Fist taking a breather here.
Bartos prevents Fist from improving position.

Fist decides to stand back up.
Fist connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bartos's hands.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bartos tries to clinch but Fist is having none of it.
Bartos walks into a left hand.
The crowd cheers as Fist lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bartos doesn't seem phased though.
Kyle Fist seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Fist measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Bartos! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Kyle Fist!
Kyle Fist very nearly forgot to thank TFP Graphics - Pit Inc amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
