The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James throws out a powerful jab.
James lands with a good body shot.

Bodybag misses with the combination.

James wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

James lands with a cross.
James punishes Bodybag's body with a nice straight punch.

James uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bodybag.
Bodybag is looking to clinch but James is avoiding it.

Bodybag gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows James to score an easy takedown into full guard.

James wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bodybag, who protects the arm well.

James is trying to get an arm triangle but Bodybag is defending well.
Bodybag is trying to control James's posture but James avoids it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
A lull in the action here as James stalls from top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bodybag tries to get back to half guard but can't.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

James looking to control but instead Bodybag has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
James seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bodybag does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
James throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bodybag lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but James circles away quickly and effectively.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
James lands a jab to the head.
James uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bodybag.

James darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Bodybag uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by James.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

James shoots in for a takedown but Bodybag shows good takedown defense.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

James has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Bodybag throws out a loose jab but James uses good head movement to avoid it.
James just misses with a punch to the body.

Bodybag is rocked!
Bodybag tries to clinch but fails miserably
and James counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Oh Bodybag is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
James cracks Bodybag with a left hook right on the temple and Bodybag goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! James lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Bodybag is OK!
