The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steiner lands a left and a right that send Dirt crashing to the mat, dazed. Steiner thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Joe Dirt has been cut.
Steiner tries to clinch but Dirt moves out of range.

Steiner moves into the clinch successfully.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A head punch blocked on the inside by Steiner.
Steiner pushes Dirt back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Dirt drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Steiner gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Steiner lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Steiner lands a nice shot to the body.
Dirt tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Steiner just stands there and leans against the cage.
Dirt wants to stall.
Dirt is looking to break free of the clinch but Steiner has double underhooks.

Steiner lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Dirt.
Steiner scores with a shot to the side of Dirt's head.
A nice right hand lands inside from Steiner.

Dirt goes for a takedown in the clinch but Steiner prevents it.

Dirt seems to have recovered his senses.

Dirt has had enough of the clinch but Steiner keeps him there for the moment.

Steiner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Steiner defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dirt.

Steiner has managed to clinch.
Steiner unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Dirt! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Steiner is unloading with more strikes now! Dirt drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
