The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tanzares looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Shlemenko!
Shlemenko is desperately trying to improve his position but Tanzares has a good base and remains in mount.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Tanzares throws a combination. Shlemenko tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Tanzares lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Shlemenko moves in looking to clinch but Tanzares pushes him off.

Tanzares closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tanzares prevents Shlemenko from getting back to his feet.

Tanzares seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Thiago Tanzares has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Tanzares cracks Shlemenko with an open hand slap.

enabling Tanzares to counter with a crisp jab.
Tanzares scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Shlemenko throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tanzares counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Tanzares misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Aleksander Shlemenko has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Thiago Tanzares is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Thiago Tanzares comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Tanzares has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
