Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dobby Elf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Vegas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elf comes to the cage accompanied by Hedwig's Theme. Vegas has chosen Don't Stop The Rock by Freestyle as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vegas lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Elf circles away quickly and effectively.
Elf dives in and grabs Vegas's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vegas pushes down on Elf's head and hops out.
Vegas throws a head kick but Elf moves out of range.
Vegas lands with a cross.

Elf closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Vegas did well to prevent Elf getting side control.

Elf thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Vegas tries to buck Elf off but Elf is having none of it.
You can see the frustration on Vegas's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Elf is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Vegas is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Elf tries for a kimura but Vegas is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Elf goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Vegas has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Elf but great work by Vegas.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Vegas is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Elf will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Vegas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Elf keeps working.

Vegas stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Elf shoots in for a takedown but Vegas shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Elf takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Elf is breathing heavily.
Vegas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Vegas scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Vegas works the jab nicely.

Elf stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Vegas.
Elf blocks a head kick by Vegas.
Elf on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Vegas throws a series of punches but Elf moves out of range.
Vegas works Elf's body with a nice hook.
A punch lands to the side of Elf 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Vegas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Vegas feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Elf's calf.
Elf takes a jab right on the kisser.
Vegas wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Vegas lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vegas dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Vegas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vegas slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Vegas cracks a nice hook into Elf's ribs.
Vegas comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Vegas closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Vegas lands with a big left! Elf is wobbled badly! Vegas comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Elf to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
