The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan throws a low kick but Russell avoids it.
Morgan throws a nice looking combination but Russell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Morgan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Kent Russell has been cut.
Zach Morgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Russell lands a really nice looking cross but Morgan seems unphased.

Russell tries to clinch up.
Morgan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Morgan throws the left hand but Russell avoids the punch easily.
Morgan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Russell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Morgan manages to avoid it.
Russell throws a looping overhand right but Morgan ducks down to avoid it.
Russell lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Russell darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Russell fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Morgan on the side of the head.

Morgan is rocked!

Russell closes the distance and clinches.

Morgan has had enough of the clinch but Russell keeps him there for the moment.

Russell pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Morgan throws a left and a right that both miss
and Russell connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Russell changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Russell is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Morgan had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Russell feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Morgan sprawling to the canvas! Morgan rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Russell finish him?!
Oh Morgan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Russell lands a jab.
Russell fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Morgan out cold! Brutal finish!
