Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and blanka charlie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

charlie shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Carter manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Carter is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. charlie is aware though and is defending well.
charlie loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

charlie avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

charlie drops back, looking for a kneebar! Carter looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Carter looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Carter!
charlie tries to bench press Carter off him but Carter keeps the position.
charlie is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
charlie is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Carter is trying to work for a kimura but charlie is defending well.

charlie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Carter can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Carter makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
charlie tries to land a sweep but no joy.
charlie lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Carter!

charlie goes for an armbar but Carter turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Carter.
charlie looks gassed!

Carter drops back looking for a leg! charlie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and charlie manages to kick Carter off! Carter jumps back into charlie's guard.

Carter thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carter is sitting in close to charlie's body. charlie has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Carter is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Carter is tapping! That was a very nice submission by charlie.
