The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singson fails to land the takedown.
Cross throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cross takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Singson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cross has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Singson has managed to get both his arms back between Cross's legs - danger averted.

Cross drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Singson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Cross has Singson in his guard.

Cross has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Well Singson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
