Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stanley Corncrab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miklo Velka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corncrab comes to the cage accompanied by TV on the Radio - Wolf Like Me. Velka has chosen Delinquent Habits - Tres Delinquentes as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corncrab misses with a wild body shot.
Corncrab throws out a leg kick but Velka moves out of range and Corncrab only half commits.
Corncrab ducks under a wild hook from Velka.
Velka thows a left - swing and a miss!
Velka's corner calls for a 1-2. Velka obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Corncrab ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Velka moves away.
Corncrab shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Velka sprawls well. Velka wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Corncrab gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Velka has momentary wrist control but Corncrab slips an elbow through the middle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Corncrab, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
