The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maddox swings for the body but Montana moves out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Montana.
Montana tries for a takedown but Maddox sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Montana drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Maddox wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maddox trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Maddox is working to avoid the ground and pound but Montana connects with a decent elbow.
Montana lands a strong strike to the head of Maddox. That's dazed him! Montana looking to finish here. Maddox is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Montana lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
