The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David with a jab.
David misses the shot to the body.

and Lee decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in David's guard.
David wants to sweep but no luck.
David keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully.

Lee is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Einar Lee will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

David throws a leg kick that misses.

David lands a really nice looking cross but Lee seems unphased.
David stuffs the takedown attempt from Lee. Lee gets slowly back to his feet.
Lee wants to clinch but David slips to the side
and David counters with a straight right hand.

and David counters with a crisp one two that drops Lee! David thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Lee to his feet! Lee is in big trouble!

Lee is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
David pounces like a tiger and cracks Lee with a vicious hook! Lee is down but not out! David follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
