Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Cragen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Mesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cragen comes into the arena with Captain Cragen blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mesnar lands with an overhand left.
Mesnar scores with a shot to the body.
Cragen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mesnar tries to avoid it but Cragen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mesnar to the ground. Mesnar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mesnar misses with the combination.
Cragen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mesnar swivels and escapes.
Mesnar slaps away a takedown attempt from Cragen, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Cragen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mesnar connects with the punch.
Mesnar stuffs the takedown attempt from Cragen. Cragen gets slowly back to his feet.

Mesnar clinches with his opponent.
Cragen fails to pull guard.
Cragen is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Mesnar gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Cragen.
Cragen goes for a takedown attempt but Mesnar pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Cragen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mesnar but Mesnar pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mesnar tries to bum rush Cragen with a series of wild strikes but Cragen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Cragen takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Cragen is breathing heavily.
Cragen gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mesnar.

Mesnar has taken the fight to the clinch.

Mesnar breaks the clinch.
Don Cragen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mesnar dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cragen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mesnar digs a good hook to Cragen's body.
Mesnar throws a combination. Cragen tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cragen throws a low kick, looking for Mesnar's leg but Mesnar calmly moves out of range.
Mesnar throws a series of punches but Cragen avoids them all with ease.
Mesnar fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Cragen. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Cragen shoots in for a takedown but Mesnar shows good takedown defense.
Mesnar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cragen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Mesnar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Mesnar prevents the takedown attempt.

Mesnar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Mesnar has taken the fight to the clinch.

Mesnar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mesnar scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Don Cragen has been cut.

Mesnar lands a left and a right that send Cragen crashing to the mat, dazed. Mesnar thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Cragen is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mesnar dances in with a quick combination. Cragen is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Mesnar snaps Cragen's head back. Cragen stumbles backwards against the cage. Mesnar steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Cragen's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Cragen just didn't come prepared.
