The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lasti ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Lasti throws a head kick that half lands.
Smith Jr shoots for a double leg takedown but Lasti sprawls well. He's pushed Smith Jr's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
