Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jonathan Paton and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grasshopper takes a kick to the side of the head.

Rogan drops back looking for a leg! Grasshopper is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Grasshopper manages to kick Rogan off! Rogan jumps back into Grasshopper's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Grasshopper looking for a guillotine here but Rogan defends easily.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Grasshopper counters with a single leg into guard. Rogan didn't expect that.
Grasshopper postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Grasshopper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rogan on the ground.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Grasshopper's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Grasshopper is breathing heavily.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Grasshopper looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rogan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Rogan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Grasshopper doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Grasshopper manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Grasshopper on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Grasshopper tries to get out of the position.

Rogan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Grasshopper is looking to escape.

Grasshopper defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Rogan.
Rogan is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Rogan gets caught flat footed, as Grasshopper shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rogan has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Grasshopper doesn't defend quickly enough and Rogan has managed to lock this one up! Can Grasshopper escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Rogan on a fantastic submission victory.
