Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean ODonnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Dickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). ODonnell comes to the cage accompanied by Going down to Boston. Sean ODonnell has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dickson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says ODonnell as he avoids it easily.
Dickson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
ODonnell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dickson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

ODonnell fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

ODonnell looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

ODonnell is nestled in close to Dickson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Sean ODonnell overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dickson tries to kick ODonnell off in order to stand up. ODonnell Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Dickson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, ODonnell asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
