Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Data Base (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodion Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Base comes to the cage accompanied by HERE WE GOOOOO!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rodion Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Base is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gracie.
Base tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gracie swivels and escapes.
Gracie misses with a straight left.
Base moves out of range of the strikes.

Base shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Base showed some decent athleticism there.
Base frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Base is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Gracie has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Gracie!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Base wants to hit a switch here but Gracie passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Base there!
Gracie prevents Base from getting the reversal.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Gracie is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Base uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gracie.
Gracie throws a series of strikes that have Base backpedaling.
Base fails to land the takedown.
Base fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Data Base. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Base takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Gracie works the jab nicely.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gracie throws a nice looking combination but Base bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Base moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Base tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gracie sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Base somewhat.
Gracie scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Base is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Base leaves his chin hanging out and Gracie seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Base crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
