Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Turan Tokoro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tokoro has chosen Trem Bala as his entrance music. Joe Davis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tokoro's waist but Tokoro gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Davis off to one side.
Tokoro lands a jab to the head.
Davis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Davis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Davis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tokoro's guard.
Davis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tokoro swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tokoro manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Davis manages to get himself to full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Tokoro counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Davis is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Tokoro tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Davis paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Davis dives in and grabs Tokoro's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tokoro pushes down on Davis's head and hops out.
Joe Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davis stuffs the takedown attempt from Tokoro. Tokoro gets slowly back to his feet.

Tokoro is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Davis to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Davis shrugs it off.

Tokoro is pressed up against the cage. Davis has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tokoro down to the mat. Tokoro avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Davis is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Tokoro is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Tokoro is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

That was a close second round but I would say that Joe Davis will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Turan Tokoro comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Tokoro has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
