PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reynolds is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Night Diving. Cooper has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Chris Cooper looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper wants to clinch.
Reynolds changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Cooper tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reynolds sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cooper somewhat.
Cooper is breathing heavily.
Reynolds showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cooper.
Chris Cooper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Reynolds throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cooper was covering up waiting for the punch and Reynolds finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Reynolds stands and throws Cooper's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Reynolds is looking to take a break and control but Cooper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Reynolds is staying tight to Cooper's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Reynolds is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Cooper looks calm but he's in trouble here. Reynolds gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Cooper is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Reynolds lets go of the hold and Cooper can pop his arm back in it's socket.
