PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Boba Fett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abel Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Iced Earth - Harbinger of Fate as his entrance music. Abel Silva told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Silva slips a straight right by Fett.
Fett connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Silva walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Silva lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Fett thuds a left hand into Silva's body.
Fett throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Silva misses with a low kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Fett avoids the elbow strike from Silva, against the cage.

Silva throws an elbow but it's blocked.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Silva.

Fett drops Silva onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Silva is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Silva seems to have recovered his senses.

Fett pushes Silva back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Fett works on Silva's body with a couple of short punches.
Fett dips a shoulder and cracks Silva with a mighty uppercut! Silva falls back against the cage and Fett unloads with a barrage of strikes! Silva is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Fett screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
