Bonix's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, "Let It Roll". The key to victory for Brook Bonix has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonix misses with an uppercut.
Teixera slips a straight right by Bonix.

Teixera darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bonix is trying to control but Teixera passes into side control!
Bonix throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Teixera closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bonix circles away.
Teixera shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bonix but Bonix pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Teixera changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bonix tries to avoid it but Teixera manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bonix to the ground. Bonix escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
