Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bosco o Neill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Cyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). o Neill's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, bring out the gimp. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cyde shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. o Neill defends it nicely.
Cyde fails to land the takedown.
Cyde tries to close the distance and clinch but o Neill swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
o Neill misses with a straight right.
o Neill misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cyde checks a leg kick.
Cyde shoots in for a double leg but o Neill sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bosco o Neill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Cyde.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A punch lands to the side of Cyde 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like James Cyde has been cut.
o Neill goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Cyde avoids the head kick by o Neill.
Cyde is looking to clinch but o Neill is avoiding it.
o Neill leaves Cyde with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

o Neill misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cyde throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around o Neill's waist but o Neill gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cyde off to one side.
Cyde blocks a head kick by o Neill.
o Neill tries a head kick but it misses.
Cyde rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but o Neill moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
o Neill leaves Cyde with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Cyde thows a leg kick but o Neill checks it
and o Neill counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Cyde is lucky that one didn't land flush.
o Neill pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cyde shoots in for a takedown but o Neill shows good takedown defense.
Cyde looks gassed!
o Neill plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
o Neill pulls out of a head kick attempt.

o Neill keeps Cyde at a distance using the push kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cyde has his takedown stuffed
and o Neill counters with a good low kick that Cyde was not able to check.
o Neill throws a nice inside leg kick.
o Neill throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Cyde's head.

That has opened up James Cyde's cut even more.
o Neill throws a monster overhand right that drops Cyde! o Neill follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
