Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Cortez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Magamedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Igor Magamedov struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Cortez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Magamedov looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Cortez drops back, looking for a kneebar! Magamedov looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Magamedov looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Magamedov!

Cortez has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Magamedov. Oh but Cortez has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Magamedov goes limp - he's gone! Cortez jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
