Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marijan Matijevic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marijan Matijevic looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matijevic shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Vaughn napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!

The referee asks Matijevic politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Matijevic prefers to stall for the moment though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Vaughn is looking to reverse the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vaughn is trying to control Matijevic's posture but Matijevic avoids it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Matijevic closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Matijevic lands in his opponent's guard.

Matijevic is sitting in close to Vaughn's body. Vaughn has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Matijevic is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Matijevic is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Vaughn.
