And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksandr Martynov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plissken shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Macnturf is trying to defend but Plissken finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Plissken throwing shots but Macnturf is blocking nicely.
Macnturf is looking to control Plissken's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Macnturf avoid being mounted?

Plissken drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Plissken jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Plissken tries to move into range but Macnturf moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Plissken uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Macnturf.

Macnturf lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Plissken circles away quickly and effectively.
Macnturf uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Plissken.
Plissken closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Macnturf did well to prevent Plissken getting side control.
Macnturf kicks off Plissken and gets to his feet.
Plissken looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Macnturf just misses with a punch to the body.
Plissken fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Macnturf avoids it really well and circles away.

It looks like SD Plissken has been cut.

Macnturf connects with a good right hand that stumbles Plissken. Plissken circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Macnturf throws a looping overhand right but Plissken ducks down to avoid it.
Plissken bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Plissken moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Macnturf displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Plissken.

Macnturf drops Plissken with a beautiful combination! Plissken stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Macnturf is looking for the KO!

Plissken tries to clinch up but Macnturf circles away and keeps his distance.
Macnturf keeps the fight on the outside.
Macnturf rushes Plissken and presses him up against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Macnturf scores with a nice short uppercut.
Macnturf manages to break the clinch.
Plissken shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Macnturf but Macnturf pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Macnturf works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Plissken uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Macnturf.
Macnturf is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Plissken had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Macnturf connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Macnturf lunges at Plissken with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Plissken's hand.
Oh Plissken is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Macnturf steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Plissken is out on his feet! Macnturf sets himself and nearly takes Plissken's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
