Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Automatic Vasquel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angola Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasquel comes to the cage accompanied by Kung Fu Panda. Bob has chosen The Good, The Bad & The Ugly theme as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob misses with a body shot.
Nice sprawl there from Bob as Vasquel shoots in.
Bob looks to score with a jab to the body but Vasquel is just out of range.

Vasquel bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bob sneaks back into half guard.
Bob tries to roll over but Vasquel keeps him under control.
Vasquel is stalling here. Bob is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Vasquel seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Bob has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A lull in the action here.

Bob fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Vasquel might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Angola Bob.
Vasquel looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bob is fending him off so far but Vasquel persists. Nope, Bob circles away and we're back to standing.
Bob throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Vasquel scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Bob is staying active underneath Vasquel, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Vasquel prevents Bob from improving his position.
Bob is trying is best to control the position here.
Vasquel wants to control but Bob is keeping him busy.
Bob is controlling Vasquel's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Vasquel is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Vasquel passes Bob's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Vasquel is breathing heavily.
Bob makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bob.

A close round but Angola Bob will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Vasquel avoids the head kick by Bob.
Bob scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Automatic Vasquel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vasquel takes a kick to the side of the head.

Vasquel fails to land the takedown.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vasquel is defended easily by Bob.
Vasquel takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Vasquel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bob's waist but Bob gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vasquel off to one side.

Angola Bob seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Bob throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vasquel stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
