The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olivera avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Olivera circles away from the clinch attempt.
Allgood tries to close the distance and clinch up but Olivera swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Olivera fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Allgood sprawls well initially but Olivera persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Allgood wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Olivera is looking for a kimura but Allgood is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Olivera to get the leverage.
Allgood regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Olivera.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Olivera postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Allgood is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Olivera, into his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Allgood is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Olivera defends it well.

Allgood escapes and gets back to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Allgood tries to close the distance and clinch up but Olivera swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That was a close round but I would say that Jake Allgood will probably get the nod.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Olivera throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Allgood's waist but Allgood gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Olivera off to one side.

Olivera shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Allgood sprawls well. Allgood wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Olivera gets slowly back to his feet.

Olivera takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Allgood lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
No luck for Olivera with that takedown attempt.

Allgood using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Olivera has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Allgood is pressed up against the cage. Olivera has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Allgood down to the mat. Allgood avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Allgood tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Allgood has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
