Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Irv Goldman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seth Anson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. ''South of Heaven'' by The Electric Hellfire Club kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Goldman shoots in for a takedown but Anson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Anson looks to land a right hand but Goldman moved out of range.

Anson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Goldman's head backwards.

Goldman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Anson tries to avoid it but Goldman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Anson to the ground. Anson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Anson counters with a straight right hand.
Seth Anson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Anson counters by moving into the clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Anson.
Goldman fails to pull guard.

Anson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Goldman clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Goldman postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Anson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Goldman, into his guard.

Goldman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Anson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
