Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silvano Assunicao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Silvano Assunicao has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Silvano Assunicao seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Assunicao. That did some damage!

Assunicao shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Williams pinned against the cage. Williams gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Williams uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Assunicao shoots in looking for a takedown. Williams tries to sprawl out of it but Assunicao keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Williams manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Assunicao shoots for a double leg takedown but Williams sprawls well. He's pushed Assunicao's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Assunicao throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Williams's waist but Williams gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Assunicao off to one side.

Williams feints and then cracks Assunicao's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Assunicao down.
