The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vucko connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Vucko has Asgard up against the cage in a clinch.
Asgard is pressed up against the cage. Vucko has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Asgard down to the mat. Asgard avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Asgard closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Vucko throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Vucko gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Asgard works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Vucko is trying to stand up here but Asgard is controlling him well.
Vucko is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Asgard scores with a couple of nice shots.

Vucko pushes Asgard off but Asgard dives into side control.
Vucko looks gassed!

Asgard has hold of Vucko's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Vucko tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Asgard cranks the arm and Vucko screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Vucko, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
